Belle Haven Family Dentistry was founded in July 2020 by Dr. Sarah Kennealy. Although the office is new to the area, Dr. Kennealy is not! Her family has been a part of the Mt. Vernon/Ft. Hunt community since the 1960’s! She is excited to be returning to the heart of her community to serve their dental needs! Dr. Kennealy attended Mt. Vernon High School (which is also where she met her husband, Kevin). She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Tech and earned her DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2012
Dr. Kennealy is passionate about providing the best care to her patients, and it is important that her patients feel comfortable and relaxed through out the entire treatment process. She is trained in providing comprehensive dental care from simple to complex cases in patients of all ages. Dr. Kennealy believes strongly in self improvement and is always seeking CE to learn and grow as a dentist/business owner/person. She is very active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Kennealy’s heart belongs to her family! She and her husband, Kevin, embrace the joys of parenthood, cheering on their four children in their many different sports and supporting their unique interests. Together they love to spend time outdoors exploring and adventuring, eating good food and having fun.
